Functional nutrition counseling, covered by insurance.
Are you ready to stop feeling tired, frustrated, and overwhelmed with brain fog, low energy, and difficulty following through with ADHD, or blood sugar ups and downs, weight struggles, and concerning labs tied to cardiometabolic health? You don’t have to figure this out alone.
Using Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and a functional medicine approach, I help you build sustainable diet and lifestyle changes. Through personalized 1:1 nutrition counseling and supportive coaching, you’ll receive science-based strategies, practical tools, and accountability to help you improve energy, regulate blood sugar, and feel more in control.
The best part? Medical Nutrition Therapy is considered preventive care, and most clients pay $0 out of pocket with insurance.

What to Expect
Initial Consultation (60 minutes)
Your first session provides the foundation for your care. We’ll review your intake form, current diet, lifestyle, and health history to identify the biggest changes you can make to start feeling like yourself again. A comprehensive lab panel will be ordered to help guide your treatment plan.
Follow-Up Sessions (55 minutes)
In these sessions, we’ll put your personalized plan into action. Together, we’ll take a closer look at your diet, we’ll review your labs and focus on strategies to ease symptoms, support your food choices, and build confidence in managing your health. These visits provide accountability, helping you stay on track and feel supported as you make changes. You’ll get practical, immediately implementable nutrition and lifestyle recommendations. I’ll guide you at each step, and we’ll adjust the plan as needed to ensure it continues to fit your lifestyle and goals.
Labs
Laboratory testing offers valuable insight into your health, uncovering imbalances that may be affecting your energy, digestion, hormones, detoxification, and overall well-being. Results can provide a roadmap for creating a personalized nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement plan tailored to your body’s needs. This data-driven approach ensures that recommendations are targeted and part of a truly comprehensive care strategy.

Sometimes, but not always. Some insurance plans require a physician referral for nutrition counseling, while others do not.
If you are located in California, a physician referral is required to see a nutrition professional for Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). Once your paperwork is completed, a referral request will be sent directly to your physician on your behalf. This is why completing your paperwork as soon as possible is important as it helps avoid delays in getting started.
If a referral is required for your plan, I’ll let you know exactly what to expect and help make the process as smooth and straightforward as possible.
